Privacy Policy

Gamertaggd is a social game-tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address (for Google or email sign-in), your Steam ID (for Steam sign-in), and the username, display name, and avatar you choose.
• Game activity. Your imported Steam library and playtime, plus the ratings, statuses, reviews, lists, and top picks you create in the app.
• Social activity. Who you follow, your followers, and the Blends you create with other players.
• Technical data. Standard request logs (IP address, timestamps, endpoints) used for security and abuse prevention, and crash reports if the app encounters an error.

What we don't collect

• We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We never see your Steam or Google password — sign-in happens directly with Steam and Google.

How it's used

Your data powers the product itself: showing your library and profile, computing Blend compatibility, and building the activity feed for people who follow you. Request logs and crash reports are used only to keep the service working and abuse-free.

Profile visibility

Profiles are public by default within the app. You can switch your profile to private in Settings, which hides it from search and limits what non-followers can see.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Steam (Valve) — sign-in and library import, only when you connect Steam.
• Google — sign-in, only when you connect Google.
• IGDB (Twitch) — the game catalog; your searches are sent to IGDB to return results.
• MediaWiki — character descriptions and images, fetched by our servers to enrich the catalog. No personal data is sent, and each character screen shows its source.
• Render — API hosting.
• Sentry — crash reporting.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete Account, or see delete-account) removes your profile, library, reviews, lists, follows, and avatar. Server request logs age out on a short rotation.

Children

Gamertaggd is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
